UF Carpentries Club Summer 2023 Workshop
Please join us for the UF Carpentries Club Summer 2023 Workshop: Shell, Git, Plotting and Programming in Python on Monday-Tuesday, June 26-27, 2023. This workshop is an introductory Python lesson that covers the fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. The target audience is students/researchers who have little to no prior experience with Python. It covers tabular and other core data structures, conditionals and loops, writing functions, and building plots. The lesson also introduces Unix Shell, and version control with Git. This lesson is designed to be run on a personal computer. All of the software and data used in this lesson are freely available online, and instructions on how to obtain & install them are provided on the workshop website.
