The selection of a research notebook is contingent on the data needs of the researchers which varies across disciplines. Storage and security are important for protecting and managing data for current and future use. This workshop will review data from Exploring electronic lab notebooks (ELN) at UF (2020) survey while introducing participants to various features and functionality to consider when selecting an electronic research notebook (ERN).
