Birds-of-a-Feather: High Performance Computing Applications on GPU

Tuesday, March 15, 2022
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Virtual Event via Zoom

With the overwhelming interest from the UF community in using HiPerGator AI to conduct Artificial Intelligence (AI) research, Research Computing (RC) is continuing its series: Birds of a Feather (BOF) sessions.

In this session, we will go over the process of running High Performance Computing (HPC) applications on GPU. Specifically, we will talk about deploying HPC workflows using NVIDIA NGC containers and running HPC applications such as GROMACS, NAMD, AMBER, and VASP. A review of NVIDIA HPC SDK and Math Libraries will be provided. Lastly, we will briefly talk about NVIDIA profiling tools and data center monitoring tools.

This event is free, but registration is required in order to attend. Zoom link will be sent to all registrations prior to event.
